The Company
and our unique Grip Making
Crafting the finest handgun grips
House of Grips is the result of a collaboration of exceptional grip makers and woodworkers, coming together to bring over 75 years of collective craftmanship in one location.
Into the 21st Century, production manufacturers have moved away from natural hardwoods and substituted with mass produced artificial and composite materials. This is not because of client trends or fashions, but because it is increasingly more difficult to source exotic hardwoods due to scarcity and International regulations.
Regardless of the challenges, at House of Grips we are committed to crafting handgun stocks from traditional hardwoods, because that is our passion.
An artisan approach with unique materials
We source a wide range of exotic hardwoods as well as fossils and some synthetic materials.
House of Grips utilizes state of the art computer controlled techniques in combination with individual hand craftmanship to create a set of finished grips.
All of our creations are designed in-house with a vast array of different checkering styles, an enhanced comfort level for every set of hands out there. We own various copyrights and trademarks on our unique products.
We offer a wide variety of grips for many pistols and revolvers, whether it is traditional checkering, smooth finish, Gator Grips or a Celtic pattern, we are sure to have a set that will fit your needs.
Decades of experience
At it’s foundation, we are family operated, but with a greater team of talented individuals.
With our decades of experience we have worked with most major gun manufacturers, Colt, Ruger, Smith & Wesson, etc, as well as tens of thousands of individual customers across North America and worldwide.
We stand by our products because your satisfaction is our priority. We offer a generous return and replacement policy which can be read at Refund and Returns Policy
Your unique grips…Our passion
We stabilize a diversity of woods in-house, where we have a department dedicated to this process. Using our unique proprietary stabilization process, we are able to create a finished set of grips that is more dense and durable than the strongest of hardwoods. The end result are exclusively unique stabilized grips that enable you to pick your own individual set from our website.
