What is cocobolo BURL ?
The term is rarely ever used in relation to cocobolo wood, because the mutation that causes burls in most hardwoods is seldom ever seen in cocobolo trees. Over the past year we were able to source some rare trees on the Pacific side of Central America that yielded this very unique speckled pattern from a cocobolo burl. It is the first time we have seen this extraordinary natural occurrence in over thirty years. Where the product description shows the word BURL, these grips are available until sold out as we may not see this rarity again in our lifetime.
